I talk to my boys and my teams often about belief.  The belief in yourself and the fact that the first person who has to believe in you, is YOU.  Often that is the hardest thing for many to do.

Self-doubt is the kryptonite of many.  We are afraid to put ourself out there.  Or we have an internal battle within that causes us to pause, to stop or to never move forward.

We just got back from our family vacation at the beach. Both of the boys took a friend this year, for Zane and his buddy the talk was mainly about girls.  He saw a girl that peaked his interest, walked over to her to talk and froze.  She left without him saying a word and he comes back head down and said I struck out.

We’ve all been in a similar situation where we doubted ourself to do something.  Then later regretted it. One of the greatest gifts you can give others is being you.  Your time, your effort and the knowledge to another that you’re going to be there for them is invaluable.

As you face today, do it with a smile and confidence.  Know that no matter what happens no one is better at being you, than you.  Take the challenge to walk over to someone to say Hi, just maybe they wanted to say hi to you as well.

Enjoy your day!
